The Museum of Danish Resistance descibes the Occupation of Denmark in 1940-45 with the main emphasis on the emergence and development of the resistance movement. The exhibition illustrates the resistance work ranging from the printing of illegal newspapers and secret radio communication with England to sabotage of factories and railways.
Many objects typical of the period help to tell the story of the Occupation: authentic photos, weapons, ID cards, uniforms and much more. On the video screens former members of the Resistance talk about their experiences.
